Midland investors are standing by their stock market investments despite a new survey claiming many are turning their back on the FTSE.
On a day when the FTSE 100 Index slumped more than two per cent, a survey from Lloyds TSB suggested 40 per cent of West Midlands investors had moved some of their money into safer investments, such as cash or bonds, in the past six months.
