LYNN could soon be making a bid to host a training camp for teams from abroad in the run-up to the 2012 Olympics.
West Norfolk Council is considering putting Lynnsport facilities forward as a venue for one of the camps that are likely to be needed across the country.
The town facility has top-quality facilities for athletics, gymnastics and table tennis and it is hoped strong train links to London, where the games will be held, will make it a real contender.
