A SIX-STOREY lighthouse-style observatory is set to be built on the banks of the River Great Ouse in Clenchwarton.
The observatory, complete with viewing area at the top, tea room, gallery and exhibition rooms would be open during daylight hours north of the sewage works on Clockcase Road. It has had outline permission for three years.
West Norfolk Council's development control board is due to discuss the application on Monday, but officers recommend the plan be accepted.
