Ax Cascade (computer-aided scientific amplifier design element) can be used to access electronically supplier information. The software has been upgraded to operate in a Windows environment and contains typical data and specifications for more than 275 standard amplifiers, as well as a number of standard switches and VCOs.
To select the appropriate amplifier for an application, the upper frequency requirement, desired noise figure, 1 dB compression power, third-order intercept point and gain are entered.
