It seems that greed and short-sightedness drive most decisions nowadays - especially when it comes to property development and mining.
The number of developers/ miners who are given permission to rape and destroy the environment is sickening. There is nothing sacred, nothing worth preserving.
How else to explain the decisions to develop houses on Kamfers Dam and to give an Australian mining house the rights to extract minerals from the Eastern Cape coastline?
And don't bother taking a stand against such decisions - you'll be suspended (if you're in the government department making the decision), or ignored (if you're part of the general ...
