Belgium's Zeebrugge terminal said last week that it is now offering LNG loading services.
LNG ships can now be both unloaded and loaded, said the terminal's owner-operator, Fluxys LNG (WGI Jul.23,p4). It added that the new service comes in response to demand from terminal users to be able to better exploit commercial opportunities on the LNG market, for instance if prices are higher elsewhere in Europe or the world.
Fluxys LNG can receive up to 110 LNG ships at the terminal. LNG is unloaded and kept in cycling storage for a few days. Depending on demand from terminal users, it is then regasified and injected into the grid. From now on, terminal users can ...
