One of the largest cement manufacturers in the world must agree to strict environmental conditions if it is to quarry near Warwickshire villages.
Mexican giant Cemex was granted permission for 25 to 30 years' extraction on either side of the Rugby Road in September.
But Warwickshire County Council regulatory committee met on December 23 to confirm the terms of the environmental agreement which will bind the operators.
The company has pledged to landscape the area it excavates and create a lake from the finished workings.
It must also ensure homes in Stockton and Model Village are protected from the noise and dust created by quarrying.
