The insulation maker establishes guidelines and a training manual to help subcontractors develop their own quality program.
Training
CertainTeed Corp. and the NAHB Research Center have developed a program to certify subcontractors to ensure that they understand how to install properly CertainTeed insulation products.
After CertainTeed assists insulation contractors in developing their own quality assurance system, the contractor's system is then audited and certified by an independent third party - the Research Center of the National Association of Home Builders.
