People in Milton Keynes are likely to die several years earlier than those in dozens of other towns in the south east region.

That is the verdict of the latest life expectancy survey, which ranks Milton Keynes as the eighth worst area out of 64 for an early death.

The survey shows the average male in the city is likely to live for 76.2 years while the average female could reach 80.2. This compares to ages of 80.1 and 83.2 respectively in the healthiest region - Hart.
