MUMBAI, Aug 21 Asia Pulse- Market regulator Sebi on Thursday banned three brokerage firms from stock market trading for six months in the Electrolux Kelvinator Ltd (EKL) scrips price manipulation case, though it has let off the promoters of the company with a warning.
According to the Sebi order, brokerage firms including Vivnesari Financial Services Pvt Ltd, Harsha Pranav Securities Pvt Ltd and Newfin Financial Services Pvt Ltd have been prohibited from buying and selling stocks for six months for indulging in circular trade of EKL scrips during 2000-2001.
