BALTIMORE - So, after all, Josh Beckett's terrible start against the Blue Jays on Sunday was more than just, as Terry Francona put it, "A clunker."
Beckett made that start, which lasted only 2-1/3 innings, with a tingling sensation in the fingers of his right hand, most specifically the ring finger and pinky. He can still feel it and the Sox have pushed back his next scheduled start from Saturday to Tuesday, but don't count on that happening.
