NEW YORK, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Late night heavyweights Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are slugging it out over their salaries in a survey by the American Payroll Association. The popular hosts are the subject of a nationwide argument over who deserves a higher salary. For now, the answer is overwhelmingly Jon Stewart.
Participants in the "Getting Paid In America" survey are asked, "Which of Comedy Central's late-night talk show hosts deserve a higher salary?" Current results show Stewart with a commanding lead of 69% to 31% for Colbert.
