Matlock Cycling Club news
WITH the clocks having changed and the evenings opening up at last Matlock Cycling Club evening time trials started once again last week.
Spring might be here, but the spring weather definitely is not.
The Tuesday five mile race at Ashford was raced in strong blustery winds giving riders a hard time.
Chris Green was back on fixed gear again this season and riding a new bike for the first time produced a very good result in the conditions with a time of 11.15.
The usual suspects were hot on his heels with Chris Hopkinson second and Peter Colledge third.
There was the usual share of disasters ...
