PETER Colledge closed the points gap on Chris Green and took his first Matlock Cycling Club championship title in last week's time trials.
But he had to settle for second in Tuesday night's ten-mile trial on the A6 as last week's winner Andy Woolf won yet again, taking the ride in a speedy 22.46.
Colledge's time of 23.05 put him in front of Green for a second time, but with a bigger margin of 19 seconds this time around.
The only significant difference this week was that tandem riders Chris Hopkinson and Richard Thoday actually managed to finish the race without puncturing.
