WASHINGTON, May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Citizens for a Sound Economy issued the following response from Drs. Michael T. Maloney and Robert E. McCormick to EEI's press release criticizing Citizens for a Sound Economy Foundation's study of competition in electric power:

"Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. EEI's statement of May 30, 1996 regarding the CSE Foundation study of competition in electricity is full of errors, inaccuracies, and misleading half-truths.
