BEIJING - The recent stable price of pork in China's major cities indicates that the country's consumer price index (CPI) may soon be under control, said some economic experts.
The average selling price of pork, which is described as a key gauge measuring CPI, was 28.48 yuan (US$4.16)/kg in China's 36 large and midsize cities on August 26.
