VET visitors at Morpeth have been going animal crackers to help bankroll the big cats.
Collections, a raffle and even a children's drawing competition have been held at The Veterinary Centre in Staithes Lane after staff decided to boost funds for international charity 21st Century Tiger.
And the results were staggering, with a whopping [pounds sterling]3,325 collected between the firm's five Northumberland branches.
All proceeds will go directly to work in tiger conservation as the charity, which is run jointly by London Zoo and Global Tiger Patrol, works in all areas of the world where tigers are found, from Russia and China to India and ...
