A CASTLE Morpeth wildlife sanctuary has received a prestigious award in recognition of the high standard of service it offers to visitors.
The Sanctuary Wildlife Care Centre, located on Crowden Hill Farm in Ulgham, was accredited with the Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme (VAQAS) by Enjoy England, the official tourist board for England and part of VisitBritain, after a mystery shopper from the organisation visited the attraction.
The scheme highlights the 'visitor experience' at the Sanctuary including telephone calls received, leaflets produced, its website, signage, car parking, the tearoom, shop, toilet facilities, children's play areas and ...
