CENTENARIAN Doris Bayley celebrated her 100th birthday with a large slice of delicious cake when fellow residents gave her a party at Lindfield Christian Care Home.
Mrs Bayley also boasted her card from HRH The Queen as staff and friends toasted her health and long life.
David Scrivens, of Chelwood Gate, who acts as her Power of Attorney, said: "She has good and bad days but I always tell people she shouldn't be taken for granted. I think she'll go on for quite a bit longer yet!"
Mrs Bayley originated from South London and moved with her late husband, Eric, to Lindfield in the sixties.
