An officer cadet from Haywards Heath who hit the headlines through his rowing achievements has received the sword of honour at Sandhurst.
Tom Bright, 23, made a splash last year when he completed a gruelling 60-day transatlantic rowing race naked with university pal Charles Bairsto.
He recently added to his list of accolades by receiving the sword of honour, a prestigious award bestowed on the best out of a total of 215 cadets in his year at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he began his rigorous training to become an officer in May last year.
