Yuba County officials have received $2 million in state and federal funds to build a new wastewater system for a Smartville subdivision.
The system, which will serve 84 homes in the Gold Village subdivision, will be funded through an $850,000 U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) grant and a $1.05 million loan and grant from the state Water Resources Control Board, according to a USDA news release.
