Last night the Laurel City Council awarded the contract for the South Laurel Stormwater and Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project to COP Construction of Billings.
COP submitted the low bid of $1,324,194 for the project that will include streets, curbs, gutters, some sidewalks and storm water disposal lines on South First Avenue and the length of Southeast Fourth Street to Bernhardt Road.
Western Municipal Construction of Billings bid $1,345,194 and Williams Plumbing and Heating of Bozeman submitted a $1,426,238 bid. Only three bids were received for the project at bid opening on Aug. 7. The low bid for the project was $201,000 ...
