COLORADO SPRINGS--Jun. 2--Western Pacific Airline stockholders will hold their first public annual meeting at The Broadmoor today following a year of success that has made it the nation's premier startup airline.
Any talk of victory, however, may be tempered by concern over a movement to unionize WestPac workers, a shortage of planes for continued expansion and the ability to grow at the crowded Colorado Springs Airport.
It may not be on the agenda, but analysts say the new airline should also be thinking about the potential of a takeover.
