Ruba Shawwa If you suffer from nausea, diarrhea, abdominal cramps or feel any discomfort after drinking milk or eating any dairy products, then, you probably have lactose intolerance. Lactose intolerance is the inability to properly digest milk sugar (lactose). Lactose is constituted of two simple sugars bound together, which are glucose and galactose, and since the intestinal walls cannot absorb lactose as such, it has to be broken (digested) into its main constituents that can be absorbed into the blood stream.
