THE campaign to get a fair share for council tax payers will go up a gear next week when County Hall bosses head for Westminster.
David Parsons, leader of Leicestershire County Council, will meet MPs to highlight how services will suffer from a lack of cash.
Mr Parsons said: "The facts speak for themselves. People in our county are missing out on millions of pounds which could and should be spent on our services.
"I hope our MPs will be able to raise the issue with the Government because without our fair share we will face painful and difficult decisions."
