SOME of the country's most advanced traffic light systems will be used to try and cut congestion during an overhaul of Melton's traffic black spots.
Work began this week on the [pounds sterling]1m changes to Norman Way's key junctions in an effort to relieve queues while the town continues fighting for a bypass.
Highways bosses admit delays will be inevitable during the work but are using hi-tech tactics to try and keep tailbacks to a minimum.
