Article: A&W RESTAURANTS TO OPEN 30 UNITS IN SINGAPORE

LIVONIA, Mich., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- A&W Restaurants, Inc., this country's oldest franchise restaurant chain, will open 30 units in Singapore in mid June 1996, according to an announcement by Sid Feltenstein, A&W chairman, president and CEO.

The new units will be owned by a franchise operation known as A&W Singapore and managed by Aylwin Holdings PTE Ltd., through a sublicensing agreement.

Feltenstein said the units will be kiosk type units, averaging 250 square feet in size and the result of an evolution of quick dining facilities in Singapore.
