Perhaps most important, it's a welcome throwback to the kind of family-friendly PG moviemaking that we used to get in the early 1980s, when only the bad guys had guns, our heroes had multiple doctorates, and an 80-year-old could enjoy the film on the same level as his 10-year-old grandson.
