A MAJOR pharmaceutical company has given its backing to a project which will see the creation of a unique vegetable garden for children and parents to learn about healthy eating at The Alnwick Garden.
Sanofi Aventis in Alnwickwill fund the new Roots and Shoots vegetable garden in partnership with The Alnwick Garden Trust and will be supporting a programme of activities being held in the Garden during the year.
The vegetable garden will enable children and adults to have a go at planting, growing and harvesting their own vegetables, stimulate an understanding of where food comes from and show vegetables in their natural form rather than ready-prepared in ...
