THE latest town map of Alnwick has been branded "an insult to tourism."
Peter Thew, chairman of Mid Northumberland Tourist Association, is livid at the quality of the free map which is available from Alnwick Tourist Information Centre.
He said: "If that's the best they can do then it is an insult to tourism. It has nothing on it."
Peter has highlighted that there are many things missing including the Alnwick District Council headquarters and a named reference to the National Express coach station.
Also on the map are five black circles with the numbers 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 inside. But, as he points out, there is no reference on the ...
