ATLANTA, June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- National Data Corporation (NYSE: NDC) (NDC) announced today the establishment of a nationwide network of companies to help independent pharmacies and small chains compete more effectively in the managed care environment.
The network is being jointly created with NDC and more than 50 preferred vendors and their affiliates who serve approximately 18,000 independent pharmacies and small chains. By using the network, pharmacists can gain access to a wide array of third-party programs, and financial and reconciliation services supported by participating vendors.
