GRAFTON - For Donald H. Grace, becoming the new head of Touchstone Community School was not just a new job, but a homecoming.
Mr. Grace, who was raised in Athol, was recently appointed to lead the progressive community school on Leland Street, moving back to Massachusetts after having taught in similar innovative schools in Maryland, Ohio and, most recently, The Park School of Buffalo in Snyder, N.Y.
Mr. Grace succeeds Steven J. Danenberg, who retired in June after three years as head of Touchstone. The nonprofit, progressive, independent school serves children ages 4 through 14 from Grafton and surrounding communities. ...
