FOXBORO - Tom Brady did not play in last night's preseason game against Philadelphia and he wasn't on the sideline, so hopefully he was home resting his injured foot.
The real season can't come fast enough for the Patriots and their fans.
It was another rough exhibition outing for the Patriots against the Eagles, but a lot of this week's problems had little to do with Brady being out.
There was nothing special about New England's special teams play as, in a span of less than two minutes late in the first half, the coverage units allowed a 101-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 76-yard punt return for a TD.
