PONTEFRACT'S 15th annual 'Red Shirt Night' charity meeting will be held tomorrow evening (Friday).
It is the course's third and final evening fixture of the summer and will raise revenue for the Injured Jockeys Holiday Fund to once again send a party of disabled former jockeys to enjoy a holiday in Tenerife.
Famous for wearing his trademark red shirt at the races, former leading northern trainer Jack Berry MBE has been the major driving force over the years for this very worthy cause in his capacity as a trustee of the Injured Jockeys Fund.
