BRAVE Danae Laing suffered five years of abuse and torment at the hands of school bullies.
She was punched, tripped, attacked in the school corridors and constantly called names by a gang of girls.
But the 17-year-old, who has now left Admiral Lord Nelson School in Portsmouth, said she didn't let the bullies win.
She did well in her GCSEs and has now got a good job with a recruitment firm.
And as part of national anti-bullying week, the teenager said other victims should take inspiration in her story.
Miss Laing, of Peronne Road, in Hilsea, Portsmouth, said: 'Everybody always says you must wish it never happened.
