WHEN a bus-load of schoolchildren set off from Fareham, they were looking forward to a day a Hampton Court Palace.

But they ended up on a seven-hour nightmare journey because of the driver's dodgy satellite-navigation system.

Instead of arriving at the palace in Surrey, they ended up 18 miles away at Hampton Court in Islington, north London.

After realising his mistake he and a trainee driver, following in a coach behind, desperately drove round the capital for hours before finally giving up and driving back to Orchard Lea School.
