Police call for calm after man dies in gang-linked shooting.(News)

Police yesterday appealed for calm between rival Birmingham gangs as they named a 24-year-old man who was shot dead.

Dimitri Foskin was shot in the chest in a driveway outside a house in Newtown, Birmingham, at 10.15pm on Saturday. He died in hospital.

Last night, Chief Superintendent Mick Treble appealed for calm between rival gangs.
