Pub in bid for smoking area
A Clitheroe pub is planning to create a new outdoor smoking area when the ban on lighting up is introduced later this year.
Ribble Valley planners will consider an application to erect a retractable fabric cover with a frame at the back of the White Lion in Market Place.
Wine bar plan for town bank
A new cafe and wine bar could be opened in Clitheroe town centre if plans to convert a bank are given the thumbs up.
