A festival celebrating one of Lancashire's most beautiful areas takes place from today June 2 to June 17.
The Bowland Festival celebrates the birds, wildlife, landscape, heritage and rural life of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Events on offer over the week include making porcelain tiles, brick carving, painting and creative writing courses.
