SAN JOSE, Calif. _ Of the 42 entries in San Jose's Gay Pride Parade Sunday, none marked the spirit of the day more concisely than Dee Tucker and the homemade sign she carried down Market Street.
``I Love My Gay Son, The Leatherman,'' the 60-year-old grandmother's sign said.
As much as anything, the hour-long parade and daylong celebration at the Guadalupe River Park was a show of support for gays by gays and _ perhaps more importantly _ by those who are not gay.
