SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1996--Thanks to an alliance struck today by Pacific Bell and IBM, businesses will be able to use a single resource to design, set up and maintain their computers, and the networks that interconnect them.
The deal, with a potential value of $1 billion over seven years, is part of a larger initiative by both companies to take the guesswork out of integrating computers with advanced data networks.
