The ongoing Olympics is expected to push up demand for LCD TVs in the Middle East by more than 30 per cent to four million sets this year due to more demand for better products at lower costs, said a report.
'The Middle East's remarkable economic growth and booming freehold property market have generated unprecedented demand for new consumer electronics products,' said Ashraf Sajid, head of sales and marketing, Digital Media Business, Samsung Gulf Electronics, as quoted in Gulf News.
