BHEL shines among engg PSEs, exceeds Jul prod target by 108 pc
New Delhi, Aug 25 (PTI) -- Power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has emerged the star performer among public sector engineering units, exceeding its production target for July 2008 by 108 per cent to Rs 1,728 crore.
As against the targeted Rs 1,600 crore, BHEL's production in July was Rs 1,728 crore which is 37.14 per cent higher than the production in the same month last year.
Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) ranked second in terms of July production performance, exceeding the target by 102 per cent and achieved an output of Rs 33.92 crore. It recorded a 21 per cent ...
