MILWAUKEE -- By the time this one was over, when seemingly half the crowd of 45,163 had already departed some 4 hours and 391 pitches from the first offering on a glorious Sunday afternoon, it was hard to remember that this day at Miller Park started out as J.J. Hardy bobblehead day.
But the Milwaukee Brewers' shortstop made sure those who remained remembered when he lined the 392nd pitch of the game into center to score Rickie Weeks from second base and deliver a 4-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates in 12 innings.
