TORONTO - The Hockey Hall of Fame is, oh, about a mile down the street from the Rogers Centre, so what better place for Jacoby Ellsbury to have his face carved up like a Sunday roast.

It happened in the fourth inning when he raced back to the fence in front of the Boston bullpen to chase down Adam Lind's long line drive. Ellsbury caught the ball just before he hit the fence, and held on. He was obviously shaken up on the play, and the game was stopped for about eight minutes while he was attended to.

Ellsbury stayed in the game.
