PITTSBURG, Calif.--Jun. 13--A 60,000-square-foot card room and convention center with restaurants, a sports bar and an entertainment stage could open next year near Highway 4.
The Seecon Financial and Construction Co., part of the A.D. Seeno Construction Co., submitted the proposal to the city last week. City officials and leaders seem to favor the plan.
The "San Marco Convention Center and Casino" would be built on 31 acres of grazing land just south of Highway 4 near the Bay Point/Willow Pass Road exit.
Envisioned is a small convention center that could host gatherings of up to 850 people, a casino with up to 68 card tables, and possibly other ...
