PHILADELPHIA, June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Sidney Kimmel, philanthropist, founder and chairman of Jones Apparel Group, announced today that he has formed and will personally fund the Sidney Kimmel Foundation for Cancer Research to support research projects seeking to develop improved therapies for the prevention and treatment of cancer.
