A PRESTON man has spoken of his terror at being caught up in the bombing which killed 24 people in an Egyptian tourist resort.

Oliver Ferguson was blown off his feet by the blasts which hit the popular Red Sea tourist resort of Dahab on Monday.

Two Britons were among 80 people injured in the three explosions and are now recovering in hospital. Egyptian police have arrested 30 people in connection with the attacks.

Oliver, 29, who is on a year-long round-the world trip, said he was around 20 to 25 yards away when the first bomb went off. He said today: "My very initial thought was, 'That's a really huge firework.
