A gang of volunteers have 4,000 miles from Lancashire to Uganda to help poverty-stricken children.
Tim Grose, manager of the Leyland Project and six volunteers raised money through charity events in Leyland to get to Africa and buy building supplies and food for the African people.
Carole Schultz, Daniel Schultz, Wendy Taylor, Olivia Cserbakoi, Maggie Pye and Sharon Slattery, all from Leyland, spent the first of two weeks in Mityana helping rebuilding Maranatha Primary School.
