A Preston MP has welcomed the arrival of a national campaign to raise awareness of identity fraud.
Nigel Evans, who represents Fulwood and the Ribble Valley, has praised the National Consumer Council for launching the campaign, which he hopes will have an immediate effect on protecting people from falling foul of the crime.
The Conservative politician is also the chairman of the all-party parliamentary group on identity fraud.
